Full Pennsylvania Primary Election Results

The Pennsylvania primary election brought plenty of upsets and surprises. Murphy defeated Feinberg, Critz beat Altmire, Raja crushed Mustio and Tom Smith will take on Bob Casey in the fall. Read all of the local election stories here!

There were a few surprises in Tuesday night.

in the race to go against President Barack Obama. Also, Republican Tom Smith won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate and will face incumbent Bob Casey Jr. in the general election.

in the 18th Congressional District. He will now face Washington County Commissioner Larry Maggi in the fall.

The biggest surprise of the night in the race for the GOP state senate nomination. The nasty campaign led to a mudslinging “ceasefire” by Mustio’s camp, but the damage was done. Mustio finished third behind Means, who didn’t spend a dime in the race.

In the other local race, for the Democratic nomination in the 45th state House district. Kotik now faces Republican Aaron Kime in the general election.
