Construction Planned on Route 50 in Scott and Carnegie this Weekend

Drivers should expect possible traffic delays along Route 50 this weekend.

Crews from Swank Construction Company will be conducting patching and asphalt paving operations along Route 50 (Washington Pike) in Scott and Carnegie on Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, weather permitting.

Short-term lane closures will occur 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday from Hope Hollow Road in Scott to Boden Avenue in Carnegie. 

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.
