District Court Rulings – 4/19

Preliminary court rulings by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet and District Judge Gary Zyra.

District Judge Gary Zyra oversees Heidelberg and Scott Township while District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township.

Charges waived to court

  • Charges of forgery, theft and access device fraud against 28-year-old Arthur C. Astringer were waived to court. Scott police originally charged Astringer on June 6.
  • Drunken driving and driving on a suspended license charges against Christopher M. Ogden, 37, of 718 Hope St., Pittsburgh, were waived to court. Additional charges of terroristic threats and harassment also were waived to court. Scott police arrested Ogden on April 2.

Charges held for court

  • A drunken driving charge against Kristine R. Trotta, 38, of 214 Shady Knoll Drive, Pittsburgh, was held for court. Scott police arrested Trotta on Feb. 25.

 

Charges withdrawn

  • A simple assault charge against Gary Gibellino, 42, of Carnegie, was withdrawn. Scott police originally charged Gibellino on Sept. 12.

 



Charges waived to court

  • Criminal trespassing and theft charges against Harold M. Brown, 43, of Bridgeville, were waived to court. A felony burglary charge was withdrawn. Bridgeville police originally charged Brown on Feb. 14.
  • Charges of drunken driving and disregarding a traffic device against Charles W. Schildnecht, 69, of Canonsburg, were waived to court. Bridgeville police arrested Schildnecht on Dec. 1.
