• PSP: Two Men Flee on Foot After Crashing into Front Yard of Upper Sage Run Road Residence (explorevenango.com) — State police detailed a November crash where a car left Upper Sage Run Road in Cranberry Township, Venango County, damaging a home’s yard before both occupants reportedly ran off. The Oil City men listed in the vehicle now face charges for failing to immediately notify police, and troopers say it’s still unknown whether anyone was injured.

• Malkin feels ‘so much better,' could return for Penguins on Thursday (nhl.com) — Penguins star Evgeni Malkin practiced in full-contact drills in Cranberry on Tuesday and says he feels “so much better,” eyeing a return from an upper-body injury later this week. The 39-year-old center, out for 15 games, hopes to rejoin Pittsburgh’s surging lineup for Thursday’s home matchup against the New Jersey Devils.
