Bacon, Blues and Abba This Weekend in Easton

A look at what's happening this weekend in Easton.

Good morning everyone. The weekend is almost here, so let's take a look at what the next few days have to offer us.

  • Easton's BaconFest is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Centre Square. Be sure to read our guide to what's happening.
  • Veteran blues guitarist Walter Parks plays Saturday at 8 p.m. at Mercantile Home.
  • From London's West End, comes Abba Mania, an Abba tribute concert, scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m. at the State Theatre.
  • The Sigal Museum will show a series of films dealing with the U.S. Marines from Easton filmmaker Lou Reda Sunday starting at noon. Veterans get in free to the museum this weekend.
  • Also at the Sigal, the Lehigh Valley Photography Clubopens its new exhibit, Shaped by the Hand of Man, Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • ConneXions hosts jazz improvisationists Gary Joseph Hassay and William Parker Saturday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • The Easton Area High School 
    Instrumental Music Association holds its annual fall Arts & Craft Sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the EAHS Cafeteria
