Cake Boss, Live Jazz Ahead This Week in Easton

Hello everyone. We're at the start of a new week, so let's see what the next few days have to offer.

1. Monday is Veterans Day, and the city will hold its annual service at 10:30 a.m. at Upper Hacketts Park.
2. Buddy Valastro, AKA the Cake Boss from TLC, will be at the State Theatre Wednesday evening at 7:30, sharing stories about his family, answering questions, and doing a live cake decoration demonstration.
3. Also Wednesday: jazz musicians Paquito D’Rivera and New York Voices perform at 8 p.m. at Lafayette College's Williams Center.
4. You can hear more jazz Thursday at Porter's Pub from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., courtesy of the Chris Cummins Standards Trio.
5. Easton City Council meets Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Easton Area School Board holds its committee meetings Tuesday at 6 p.m.
