Did You Remember to Set Your Clocks Back?
The Easton Fire Department is reminding residents to change their smoke alarm batteries when they change their clocks.

Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday at 2 a.m.
For a lot of people, that means setting their clocks back one hour before they go to bed Saturday.
While you're doing that, the Easton Fire Department wants you to check on another small appliance: your smoke alarm. The start and end of Daylight Saving Time are usually considered a good time to install new batteries in smoke detectors.
The importance of those devices was driven home in a pretty horrific manner earlier this month after three people died in a fire in a Spring Garden Street home that had no smoke alarms.
The city fire department will provide and even install smoke detectors for free. Just call 610-250-6672.
