5-Story Hotel Could Be Built Near Promenade Shops

Sketch plans for a five-story, 109-room hotel on land that was formerly part of the Center Valley Club—near the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley on Center Valley Parkway—have been submitted to Upper Saucon Township officials, the Morning Call reported.

According to the newspaper's article, the hotel—which would likely consist of suites and include an 8,000 square-foot banquet facility or restaurant—would fill a need for additional accommodations in the Center Valley area, which is home to large companies such as Olympus.
