About the Event:

On Saturday, September 18th, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Borough will be hosting Dumpster Day at the Emmaus Fire Training Grounds located on Klines Lane.  The event is designed for our residents (Borough Residents Only – ID’s will be checked at the gate) to dispose of items that are difficult to dispose of.  The event is not open for businesses to dispose of items.  It is an opportunity to do some fall housecleaning and get rid of some of those items that you just don’t know what to do with.  The event will allow for disposal of any household waste that is not food waste or regular trash, including: disposal of old tires, couches, electronics, air conditioners, mattresses, appliances, batteries, and other bulk items.  We will also distribute some educational material at the event regarding refuse, recycling, and hazardous waste reduction.
