Do you serve your children alcohol at home?
Europeans do, and they have a much lower incidence of teenage binge drinking.

A recent Wall Street Journal article ponders that if we teach our children how to swim, ride a bike and how to drive safely, should we not also teach them how to drink alcohol responsibly?
It's common in parts of Europe for children to be introduced to drinking in the home, and according to the article, European teens have far fewer incidents of binge drinking.
The Journal references a World Health Organization report that found only "1-in-10 drinking occasions by 15- and 16-year-olds in southern European countries resulted in intoxication, compared with almost half in the U.S."
