Enjoy Free Cake, Apple Slices at Giant Friday

Giant Food Stores has announced that it will celebrate its 90th anniversary this Friday, Oct. 4 by handing out free pieces of cake and apple slices to customers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. (while supplies last).

“Our valued customers are the reason we have been able to achieve this 90 year milestone of providing quality, selection and service,” said Giant president Rick Herring in a news release. “GIANT/MARTIN’S is proud to be a better neighbor in the 200 local communities we serve and on behalf of our more than 32,000 associates, thank you for shopping with us.”

The anniversary celebration will take place at 200 Giant and Martin's stores throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, according to the release.

Locally, Giant Food Stores is located at 6900 Hamilton Boulevard, Allentown.
