Tornado Watch in Effect Until 8 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch until 8 p.m.

According to the statement, thunderstorms are now developing in Central and Northeast Pennsylvania due to a mass of hot and very humid air.

These storms will be capable of producing damaging hail, wind, and possibly a tornado, the NWS reports.

Pennsylvania counties included are Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton and Philadelphia.
