One KNBT Bank Robbery Suspect Faces the Judge
Edward Anthony Maye, also known as Andre Sheppard, had his preliminary hearing this morning on charges he allegedly took part in the KNBT Bank robbery Dec. 30.
From the basement of the Lehigh County Court House in Allentown at 10:35 this morning, one of the three suspects in the Dec. 30 took a long slow walk to a court room on the first floor.
Edward Anthony Maye, also known as Andre Sheppard, 32, of 446 E. Lexington St., Allentown faced the judge in his preliminary hearing on charges of attempted criminal homicide, robbery and aggravated assault.
The two other suspects face the same charges. Hishamu T. Curry, 35, of Philadelphia waived his preliminary hearing earlier this week, meaning he did not contest the charges, but that does not mean he pleaded guilty, only that he will proceed to trial.
