Delaware County Community College Reports 12 Thefts in 2011

Delaware County Community College publishes their most recent annual Campus Security Report.

Delaware County Community College (DCCC) recently released their crime statistics for 2011. The college publishes their yearly crime statistics annually. The Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act, enacted by the U.S. Congress in 1990 (Act 20 U.S.C. 1092), requires each institution of higher education to prepare, publish and distribute to all students and employees an annual security report by October 1 of each year, according to the college.

Overall, the crime statistics for Part 1 Offenses in 2011 have decreased since 2010. Part 2 Offenses generally stayed the same since 2010 but the number of disorderly conduct increased over the past four years.

According to the college's website, DCCC complies with federal, state and local laws including, but not limited to, those which regulate the possession, use and sale of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs and weapons, sexual assault, destruction of College equipment and buildings, theft, gambling and disorderly conduct.
