29th Annual Haverford Township Day: What To Know

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Saturday will mark the 29th Haverford Township Day, and attendees will be treated to food, live entertainment, a craft fair, and more.
The day kicks off with a 5K race, which begins at 8:30 a.m. at Haverford Middle School.
Due to the race, road closures will affect Mill Road and Karakung Drive from Mill Road to Manoa Road. Road closures will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Additionally, Darby Road between Mill and Manoa roads will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The flea market and craft fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At 10:30 a.m., the parade will step off at Manoa Shopping Center. Marchers will go from the shopping center right on Darby Road and end at Manoa Road.
The Skatium will host Newspaper Taxis from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Philadelphia Heart and Soul from 1 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
The Skatium area from noon to 3:30 p.m. will feature stilt walkers, jugglers, magician, face painting, caricaturists, balloon sculptures and more Rock n Roll.
From 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Skatium will host free skating.
On Brookline Boulevard, attendees will find children's activities and rides, such as a train and moon bounce.
The Brookline Fire House will host the Haverford High School Orchestra from noon to 12:45 p.m
The De La Salle Orchestra will be performing big band music at the Yale Road Stage from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Janine Kelly will offer up kids music on the Main Stage from noon to 1 p.m., followed by Cascasde from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held Sunday.
