Baby Delivered With Help Of Delco Police Officer
On Oct. 8 during the Annual Haverford Township Day events, Ofc. L. Howard responded to a call about a woman in labor and leaped into action.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township have plenty to keep them busy. And on this year's Haverford Township Day, one officer was busy helping welcome new life into the world.
According to police, Ofc. L. Howard got a call about a woman going into labor.
Howard responded to the call and found a woman named Jaclyn in labor with her husband Jason and son Mason in the room.

Jaclyn, with the help of Howard, was able to safely deliver the baby.
Born that day was a boy named Mason.

"We're happy to report that the whole family is doing well," Police said.
Jaclyn, Mason, her father, and Delaware County Park Police Chief John Deihl recently came to the Haverford Police Department to thank Howard. They even brought lunch for the department.
A job well done to Howard, and big congratulations to Jaclyn and her family.
