The Yellow Jackets and Bees were out in full force at Hilltop Field Tuesday evening on the field at Hilltop Park.

The 7 and 8-year-old softball players were keeping active and warmer than their parents who shivered on the sidelines, some wrapped in blankets, in the 45-degree twilight.

The two teams are part of the Haverford Township Hilltop Baseball, Softball and Challenger League which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
