Blue Route Reopens After Morning Flooding
The northbound lanes in Delaware County were closed for an hour Monday morning.

The early morning commute Monday hit an unwanted snag on I-476, when heavy rain caused the highway to flood the northbound lanes, according to NBC Philadelphia.
The Blue Route in Delaware County, along the four-mile stretch between the Broomall exit and the St. Davids/Villanova exit, was closed to traffic from 5:30 a.m. to approximately 6:45 a.m., 6-ABC reports.
Storm drains were cleared and the waters receded, but motorists are advised that another flash flooding warning has been issued by the National Weather Service, beginning at noon and lasting through the evening.
