Cradles to Crayons is proud to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by offering special engagement opportunities in support of our mission to help children living in poverty throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
Our MLK Donation Drive is extremely important in helping to fill our shelves with clothing, coats, and shoes for distribution to thousands of children in the coming months. To honor Dr. King’s legacy, please bring your donations to a collection site near you!
Items we accept:
- Clothing (new or gently used), children and adult sizes
- NEW socks and underwear
- Pajamas (new or gently used)
- Winter coats, hats, gloves/mittens
- Sweatshirts/hoodies and sweatpants
- Shoes, boots, and sneakers (toddler sizes 4–13 and adult sizes 1–10)
- NEW arts, crafts, and school supplies
- NEW hygiene items
- Diapers, pull-ups, and diaper wipes
