Car Covered in Plastic Wrap, Drug Deal Busted in Police Blotter

A burglary was reported in the 900 block of E. Darby Road on Nov. 1. According to police, someone entered an apartment through an unlocked door and stole $2,000 from a safe and approximately $6,000 worth of jewelry.
Police saw a drug transaction in the parking lot of Burger King in the 200 block of West Chester Pike on Nov. 1 around 7 p.m. A 36-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both of Havertown, were arrested and charged.
Vandalism
In the 1200 block of West Chester Pike on 11/2 @ 1730 hours – Vehicle window was smashed.
In the 400 block of Valley Glen Drive on 10/30 @ 1344 hours – a small tree was damaged.
In the 1500 block of Melrose Avenue on 10/31 @ 0717 hours – vehicle was covered in plastic wrap.
At Child Guidance Center (2000 block of Old West Chester Pike) on 11/4 @ 1006 hours – Vehicle window was smashed.
In the 100 block of E. Eagle Road on 11/4 @ 1221 hours – Fence was damaged.
In the 1200 block of Leedom Road on 11/5 @ 1129 hours – Vehicle was egged.
In the 300 block of Golf Hills Road on 11/5 @ 1815 hours – Vehicle door lock was damaged. It does not appear the vehicle was entered.
