Church Burglary, Fraud, Thefts, DUI, More: Haverford Crime Blotter
The Temple Lutheran Church on Brookline Boulevard was broken into and had food from the pantry stolen, Haverford Township Police said.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police released details on recent crime incidents in the township.
These incidents occurred between June 4 and June 9.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on June 4 at 10:22 a.m. – A wallet was stolen from an unsecured locker.
- Fraud at the 200 block of E. Benedict Avenue on June 4 at 6:56 a.m. – The victim reported that someone made a $73.40 unauthorized purchase with her credit card.
- Forgery at the 300 block of Maryland Avenue on June 5 at 12:43 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
- Theft at Bailey Park, 300 block of Virginia Avenue, on June 5 at 7:42 p.m. – An electric scooter was stolen.
- Theft at Wilkie Lexus, 500 block of Lancaster Avenue, on June 5 at 10:33 a.m. – Two tires valued at $600 were stolen from a storage container.
- Retail Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on June 5 at 1:10 a.m. – 18-year-old male, 4400 block of Township Line Road, Drexel Hill was cited with disorderly conduct for the retail theft of $13.67 worth of merchandise and 19-year-old male, 1000 block of Hopkins Avenue, Glenolden, was cited with disorderly conduct for the retail theft of $7.07 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on June 5 at 6:22 p.m. – Two unknown females stole $557.95 worth of merchandise.
- Theft at Haverford Middle School, 1700 block of Darby Road, on June 6 at 416 p.m. – Forced entry was made into a locker and AirPods, iPhone and $25 were stolen.
- Theft at the 100 block of Decatur Road on June 6 at 1715 hours – Vehicle registration was stolen.
- Theft at Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road, on June 6 at 10:30 a.m. – The victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her backpack during gym class.
- Burglary at Temple Lutheran Church, 500 block of Brookline Boulevard, on June 7 at 5:56 p.m. – The Pastor reported that a lock box was forced open. Three rolls of postage stamps and food from the food pantry were stolen.
- Fraud at the 600 block of S. Eagle Road on June 7 at 12:13 p.m. – The victim reported four fraudulent purchases on her bank account totaling $233.32.
- Disorderly Conduct at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on June 9 at 7:02 a.m. – 40-year-old male, unit block of Springton Road, Upper Darby, was cited for disorderly conduct.
- Attempted Theft at the unit block of Brookline Boulevard on June 9 at 7:10 a.m. – The victim received an alert from his security camera that there was motion detected. He observed an unknown male attempting to open the door to his vehicle. The vehicle was locked, and entry was never made.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on June 9 at noon – An unknown male stole $574.74 worth of merchandise.

- 56-year-old male, 300 block of Golf Hills Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI, careless driving and accident involving damage to unattended vehicle. Location: West Chester Pike and Lawrence Road. Date: June 4 at 12:01 a.m.
- 41-year-old male, unit block of Houston Road, Lansdowne. Charges: DUI, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: S. Eagle Road and Bon Air Road. Date: June 6 at 11:15 p.m.
- 63-year-old male, 100 block of Sycamore Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI. Location: West Chester Pike and Claremont Boulevard. Date: June 10 at 9 p.m.
