Cop Camp To Teach Haverford Kids The Ins And Outs Of Policing
Haverford's Cop Camp will teach kids about the police academy, detective work, K9 units, drone usage, and more. Registration opens Feb. 18.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township are inviting the local kids to sign up for their Cop Camp this summer.
Cop Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 24 to June 27 at the Haverford Police Station.
The program is open to kids 10 and 11 years old who are well-behaved township residents.

Registration is $25 and opens at 9 a.m. Feb. 18.
Participants will learn what it takes to make it through the police academy, the basics of crime scene analysis and discover how detectives solve cases, experience firsthand how drones are used in law enforcement, meet real life officers like K-9 Team handlers, SWAT team members, honor guard officers, and more.
