Delco Man Tried To Sexually Assault Child At South Jersey Hotel: AG
New Jersey authorities said the Chester man had root beer and personal lubricant on him when he met police instead of his would-be victim.
CHESTER, PA — A Delaware County man arranged a meetup to sexually assault a child at a South Jersey hotel last month, authorities said. Instead, he met the cops.
Hank West, 43, of Chester, was charged with second-degree luring or enticing a child, according to Burlington County, New Jersey authorities.
West communicated online with an undercover officer who he thought was a child, authorities said. He arranged to meet the officer Feb. 28 at a hotel in Bordentown, promising to bring root beer, according to the state attorney general's office.
