Family Killed In Delco Shooting, Fire Honored By School District
Xuong Le, Britni N. McLaughlin, and their children Natalya Le, 17; Nakayla Le, 13; and Xavier Le, 10, died Feb. 7 in a shooting and fire.
EAST LANSDOWNE, PA — The family who was killed in the tragic events of Wednesday, Feb. 7 in Delaware County were honored by their school district at a celebration of life recently.
The William Penn School District held the celebration of life for the Le family Sunday.
Xuong Le, 40, his wife Britni N. McLaughlin, and their children Natalya Le, 17; Nakayla Le, 13; and Xavier Le, 10, died in a shooting and fire on Feb. 7 in their East Lasdowne home. Authorities said it was Xuong Le's brother, Cahn Van Le, 42, who killed them then set fire to the home, destroying it and prompting a search for the Le family. Their remains were found in the charred rubble of the Lewis Street home.

All three children were students in the William Penn School District.

The community gathered Sunday afternoon in the Penn Wood High School-GAC gymnasium to member and celebrate the lives of those lost, and provide support for the Le and McLaughlin familes.
"The William Penn School District extends its deepest condolences to the McLaughlin and Le families and all those affected by their loss," the district said.
