Halloween at Haverford College, Shade Tree Meeting in the Week Ahead

Join Haverford College this Halloween for a fun-filled night of Astronomy and candy-eating. Make your own paper bag space helmet or play with gooey alien slime collected from the far reaches of the Universe. Watch a humorous Simpson's clip of a black hole gobbling up Springfield, and learn which spooky black hole consequences are good physics and which are bad physics. And if that's not enough for you, come take a peek through the Strawbridge Observatory telescopes and explore the stars above (weather permitting).

Haverford Township's Shade Tree Commission will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday the Haverford School District students will have early dismissal.
