Wawa alerts customers about a potential problem with a popular milk product.

Customers at Haverford's two Wawa stores (and other Wawas around the region) are being warned about a possible problem with a recent batch of Wawa Vitamin D milk.

A note posted on the refrigerator cases at both the Wawa at Darby and Manoa Road and the "big" Wawa at 33 Eagle Road warns customers about an undefined problem with Wawa Vitamin D milk not meeting the company's "taste profile standards."

Dear Customer,
If you recently purchased any size of Vitamin D Whole Milk, please take a moment to read this letter.
Wawa takes pride in providing high quality products to our customers and accepts full responsibility when our products do not consistently meet our high quality standards.  We have recently learned that our Vitamin D Whole Milk with code dates of 3/7/13 through 3/20/13 is not consistently meeting our standards and that its taste profile and the longevity of shelf-life could be negatively impacted.
If you have purchased product with the above-referenced code dates, and are not fully satisfied, please discard it and contact the Wawa Customer Call Center at 1-800-444-9292 for a full refund.
We apologize for any out-of-stock conditions as we work through replenishing our stores with new product.
Thank you for your understanding; and, as always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Wawa Customer Call Center.
