How The U.S. Open Could Impact School Busses
The tournament will have an affect on bus routes and times during the last week of the school year.
Haverford Township School District school bus routes and schedules will be impacted by the U.S. Open. Exactly how the golf tournamenet will impact individual routes is still not completely clear.
In response to a question from Haverford Patch the district sent this response, including a website link that will be updated on a daily basis during the tournament week from June 10-14. June 14 is now the last day of school for students in the district because of a lack of snow days needed during the winter.
If the U.S. Open were to go into an extra or rain-delay round it would be played on Monday June 17.
