None Hurt In Haverford House Fire Early Thursday
Two people were reportedly entrapped in the home, but first responders found they had safely evacuated the building.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Fire crews battled a residential blaze early Thursday morning in Haverford Township amid intense heat.
Firefighters from Brookline, Manoa, Oakmont, Bon Air, and Llanerch fire companies, as well as Haverford Township Police and Narberth Ambulance EMS crews, were called to a home on Strathmore Road for a fire, reportedly with people trapped inside.
When police showed up, they found that two people who were reportedly trapped had safely evacuated the home.

Firefighters began tackling a fire in a second floor bedroom.
Crews knocked the bulk of the fire down within minutes, and began to check for extension into other parts of the home.
