One-Day Rash of Crimes Hits Cars in Haverford

Police are investigating five easy-target crimes involving some expensive items.

Haverford Police are investigating four cases of thefts from vehicles reported last Thursday. There was no break-in reported in any of the cases but there were several expensive items taken.

Here are the cases as reported by Haverford Township Police:

On March 28 at 3:38 p.m. in the 200 block of Merwood Lane police an unlocked vehicle was entered and a GPS and three extension cords were stolen.

On March 28 at 4:23 p.m. in the 2400 block of Merwood Lane police say someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a bag containing $100, an iPad and a checkbook.

On March 28 at 5:23 p.m. in the 200 block of Whitemarsh Road pollice say someone entered an undescribed vehicle and took sunglasses, an iPhone charger and loose change.

On March 28 at 6:37 p.m. in the 2400 block of Whitby Road someone entered an unspecified vehicle and, according to police, stole a GPS, loose change and 10 sets of Phillies tickets. 

On March 28 at 9:44 p.m in the 400 block of West Chester Pike police say someone entered a vehicle in the LA Fitness parking lot and stole $60, a gas card and a cell phone.
