Quarry Center's First Store is Now Open
The shopping center in the former Llanerch Quarry is now open for business with its first store.
Long before some of the people who shop there were born, work that would eventually lead to the opening of the Quarry Center was underway.
According to one township commissioner it took about 32 years to fill the giant hole that is now the Quarry Center.

Visionworks, the first store to open in the center welcomed its first customers on Friday Morning.
More stores are on the way with Chipotle and Panera Bread expected to open by the end of the month and Giant slated to open on April 17. The other anchor store is Lowe's Home Improvement which is expected to open in about two months.
