Simple Assault, DUI, Stolen Vehicle, More: Haverford Crime Blotter

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police issued details on crimes in the township recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Feb. 20 and March 2.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

Incidents

• Theft at the 800 block of Biddle Street on Feb. 20 at 7:49 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, sunglasses were stolen.
• Theft at the 100 block of Wilson Avenue on Feb. 27 at 3:53 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered - $300 was reported missing.
• Theft at Brandywine Assisted Living, 700 block of Old Buck Lane, on Feb. 27 at 6:45 p.m. – Victim reported that her watch and earrings valued at $100 was stolen from her room.
• Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft at the 400 block of Devon Road on March 2 at 11:54 a.m.
• Motor Vehicle Theft at the 100 block of Juniper Road on March 2 at 10:43 a.m.
• Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on March 2 at 3:45 p.m. – An unknown male stole $180 worth of merchandise, and an unknown female stole $320 worth of merchandise.
• Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on March 2 at 4:12 hours – An unknown male stole $64 worth of Red Bull.

Arrests

• 39-year-old male, 800 block of W. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Feb. 28 at 1 p.m.
• 26-year-old male, 1300 block of Darby Road, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault and harassment. Location: 1300 block of Darby Road. Date: Feb. 28 at 9:31 p.m.
• 31-year-old male, 200 block of Rocklyn Road, Upper Darby. Charges: DUI, reckless driving, and traffic violations. Location: West Chester Pike and Lawrence Road. Date: March 2 at 1:46 a.m.
