SportsRadio 94WIP Launching 'Tour De Delco'

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County residents are brimming with hometown pride.

From the banks of the Schuylkill in Chester to the hallowed halls of Villanova University, people living in Delco love their homes.

And now they have a chance to show their hometown pride by participating in the first-ever "Tour de Delco" from SportsRadio 94WIP and Visit Delco.

The go-to radio station for all things Philly sports is embarking on the Tour de Delco, which will be "a special tour of Delaware County cities where we'll be stopping to celebrate sports, unique traditions, and community pride."

"Do you have the most passionate fans, the best local traditions, or a community that rallies behind its teams like no other? Now's your chance to make your case," SportsRadio 94WIP's website reads.

Residents can now submit their towns to be considered for spots on the Tour de Delco. Submit your town online here.

When submitting a town, include stories, traditions, and any reasons why the community deserves to be featured.

The radio station is encouraging listeners to follow them on X to join the conversation using #TourdeDelco. Social media users are asked to share photos, videos, and memories that highlight their town’s sports spirit.

Hosts Spike Eskin, Jack Fritz, and Ike Reese will do live, remote broadcasts from Delco towns that are chosen for the tour.
