Three Stores, Three Thefts: Clean Getaways
It appears a mini crime wave in Haverford has thieves awash in a certain type of bounty.

Haverford Police are investigating three crimes where thieves made a clean getaway.
In each incident thieves reportedly targeted only personal hygiene products.

The first case was reported at 1:07 p.m. on Feb. 21 at the CVS in the 1100 Block of West Chester Pike. A store employee told police that a man and two women "stole approximately 20 bottles of Nivea body wash and fled the store."
Two days later, on Feb. 23 at 1:17 p.m., Haverford Police were alerted to a similar theft at the Rite Aid in the Manoa Shopping Center on West Chester Pike. In this incident, police say a customer witnesses a man and two women "place numerous body washes in a bag and flee the store."

The third theft was reported one day later at 10:54 a.m. on Feb. 24 at the Super Fresh in the Manoa Shopping Center. According to police, "employees reported a (woman) stole $87 worth of soap, hand cream and deodorant and fled the scene."
