Discover the Past at Hellertown Cemetery Tours

On Thursday and Friday, Aug. 16 and 17 from 6 to 8pm, guided tours of , 89 Main St., Hellertown, will be given.

The free tours have become , with re-enactors portraying well-known local individuals who are buried there.

Attendees should meet at the Cremation Gardens for the tours, which will depart every 8 to 10 minutes.

This year’s tour will feature narrations from the graves of former local residents Warren Eckert, Bessie Shiffer, Russel Mauch, Herbert Weisel and Nicholas Zenkof.

Visitors to the cemetery should wear comfortable walking shoes. The tours will be given free of charge, weather permitting.
