Expect Night Work, Delays on I-78 Near Hellertown Next Week
Overnight repairs will be taking place on I-78 between the Route 412 and Route 611 exits in Northampton County, according to a PennDOT news release.
Beginning Monday, PennDOT will impose lane restrictions in both directions on I-78 between the Route 412 (Hellertown) and Route 611 (Easton) exits for concrete patching and spall repair work, according to a news release.
"There will also be single lane restrictions on the Exit 71 (PA 33) ramps," PennDOT said in the release, which was issued Friday.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and use caution while driving through the work zone.
The work is scheduled to occur Monday through Thursday, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The work is expected to be completed Aug. 1, PennDOT said.
