Get Out: The Irish/English Edition
Plays, music and dancing for the Irish lover, and a little something for the Englishman as well.

It’s a weekend full of passion and revelry, as the valley gears up for another St. Pat’s day. Perhaps you’d like to set the tone with a play or some Celtic music? Perhaps the annual St. Pat’s Coronation Ball sounds more up your alley? Or maybe you’re not such a fan of the Emerald Isle, in which case you can check out of the brouhaha and see the London Opera. Or maybe, just maybe, you’d like to just skip the whole thing and do some good. Any way you slice it, you’re covered this weekend.

Carmen in 3D at Rave Motion Picture Cinema at the Promenade
Where/When: Rave at the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, 2805 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley. Sunday, March 13, 1pm.

The Beauty Queen of Leenane
Where/When: Fox Environmental Center at the Mill, 130 Illick's Mill Road, Bethlehem. Saturday, March 12, 7pm.
Why Go: This dark comedy about the relationship between a 40-year-old woman and her 70-year-old mother is fall-on-the-floor funny in that uncomfortable, “Hey, I’ve worried about that too” way. Plus, it’s Irish and therefore seasonally appropriate.
Pricing: Tickets are $10.
