Kindergarten Registration Will Be Held Thursday
Saucon Valley kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held March 29 from 5 to 7pm, or by appointment.

The has announced that kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held Thursday, March 29 from 5 to 7pm at the . Registration can also be scheduled by appointment by calling 610-838-7001, ext. 1121.
The district has also announced that kindergarten screenings by appointment will take place May 8-10. Appointments should be made by calling 610-838-7001, ext. 1.

A kindergarten screening is "a 20-minute screening to assess the children's current development in the areas of language arts and mathematics," according to the elementary school. "(It) allows the teachers to immediately individualize instruction based upon students' needs."
Lastly, an open house for parents or guardians of incoming kindergartners will be held May 29 from 5 to 7pm. The event is being billed as "an introduction to everything kindergarten."
