Local Bistro to Host Food and Wine Festival Fundraiser

This Sunday from 1 to 4pm, gourmet meatballs and fine wine will be on a special menu at Hellertown's --and they will be there for a good cause.

Sagra, , will be hosting "Meatball Sagra: A Food and Wine Tasting Festival" to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley.

Guests will have the opportunity to "taste meatballs with international flare, and a few dessert ones too, along with delicious wines," .

", , owner of Sagra Bistro and Catering has been holding this event solely to benefit our non-profit foundation," explained Carrie Gofberg, the foundation's executive director.

The nonprofit Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley is "a network of parents and professionals who aim to help children diagnosed with cancer and their families by providing support, resources, programs and services as well as continually promoting pediatric oncology awareness and advocacy within the community," according to its mission statement.

Tickets for "Meatball Sagra" are $35 each, and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 484-851-3220. Attendees must be 21 or older and IDs will be requested at the door.
