NJ Parolee Peed on 7-Eleven Wall, Police Say
James Henry Dunnington, 58, of Jersey City, was arrested for DUI in Hellertown after he allegedly urinated on a wall at the Main Street 7-Eleven. He is on parole following a sexual assault conviction, according to records.

A New Jersey man on parole from a sexual assault conviction was allegedly driving a car with New York license plates without a license, registration or insurance when he was arrested in Hellertown early Wednesday morning for drunken driving, according to court papers.
James Henry Dunnington, 58, of Jersey City, N.J. first attracted police attention after a complaint—made at about 1:30 a.m.—that a “possible impaired driver” had just left the 7-Eleven at 1100 Main St. and urinated on the store’s wall, the arrest affidavit said.
The caller told police the driver got into a silver Honda with New York license plates, drove over the curb and turned south onto Main Street.

Then, according to the affidavit:
- Cpl. Jeff Johnson of the Hellertown Police Department spotted the car traveling north in the 300 block of Main Street, but straddling both lanes.
- Johnson followed the car to the intersection of Main and Water streets, where the driver stopped the car in the left turn lane. When the light turned green, the car did not move. When it finally did, it went straight.
- The officer then had the car stop in front of KNBT. Dunnington was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a field sobriety test was conducted.
- During the investigation, Johnson wrote, he learned that Dunnington is wearing a tracking device from his New Jersey parole.
Dunnington was charged with DUI, disorderly conduct, driving without a license, driving without registration and driving without insurance. He was arraigned before District Judge David Tidd of Lower Saucon Township and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
