Nockamixon, Bushkill Falls Voted Best Staycation Spots

The readers of Hellertown-Lower Saucon Patch have spoken, and according to them, Lake Nockamixon State Park near Quakertown in Bucks County and Bushkill Falls in the Poconos are the best places to visit during a staycation, i.e. a vacation at home.

Both destinations, which are noted for their natural beauty and accessibility from the Lehigh Valley, received 26 percent of the total vote in the poll.

The second-place winner of the Readers' Choice poll was , a perennial family favorite and amusement park in South Whitehall Township.
