Police: Aggressive Driving on Rt. 378 Targeted
Lower Saucon Township Police say they have issued 72 citations for speeding to motorists on Route 378 so far this month.

Aggressive drivers on Route 378 have been the target of April enforcement efforts by Lower Saucon Township police, the department announced in a press release Thursday.
According to the release, "Lower Saucon Township Police Department officers participated in three PA state-funded traffic enforcement details on State Route 378 designed to curb aggressive driving."
As a result of the details, "officers made 86 contacts and issued 81 traffic citations and four written warnings," it continued. "Of that total, 72 citations were issued for Maximum Speed...violations."

The police department called the enforcement effort "a success," and said "the efforts put forth by the officers who participated were much appreciated."
