Saucon Valley's Pool Now Open for Recreational Swimming
The 2013-2014 Saucon Valley Recreational Swimming Program, which allows local residents to use the high school swimming pool for a fee, is now underway.
Saucon Valley School District's annual Recreational Swim Program is now underway.
The program allows local residents who pay a fee or purchase a pass to use the high school swimming pool for fitness, recreation or both.
The program is also open to residents from outside the Saucon Valley School District, however individual and family season pass fees are higher for non-residents.
Information about the 2013-2014 season is included in a flyer posted on the school district website, which explains pricing, pool rules and special pool use opportunities that are available to community members, such as birthday parties.
The season roughly corresponds with the school year, and will conclude on May 31, 2014.
During the school year, if schools are closed for holidays or due to weather, the pool will also be closed, according to the flyer.
