White Paint Transferred in Hit-and-Run, Police Say
Hellertown Police say they're investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred behind 758 Main St.

A clue in an ongoing hit-and-run investigation is white paint that was transferred to the rear bumper of the car that was struck, Hellertown Police said in a news release about the accident.
According to police, the car that was struck was parked in a lot behind 758 Main St., and sustained minor damage.
The car's owner told police the accident happened sometime during the day on Sept. 6.
The accident was reported at 2:43 p.m. that day.
Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call Hellertown Police at 610-838-7040.
