The Church of the Advent Hatboro has a Take-Out Meal Ministry on the third Saturday of each month from 3:30 – 5:00. All meals are free. The date for the month of DECEMBER is the 20th. Please enter on Rorer Avenue off York Road between Heilman Auto Service (formerly Sunoco) and the Hatboro Federal Savings Bank, just one block from Byberry Road. Enter the bank parking lot. There will be someone offering directions. If walking, please come to the Rorer Ave. entrance to the Church and someone will assist you. The menu is turkey with stuffing.

This gentle practice is suitable for all levels, including beginners. In Gentle Yoga, movements are slow, supportive, and guided with care. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace and honor what feels right in their body, with options offered throughout the class to ensure comfort, safety, and ease. 
• Relief from stress, overwhelm, or nervous system fatigue • A safe way to move their body without strain or expectation • A softer re-entry into movement after injury, illness, or time away • Support with flexibility, stiffness, or chronic tension • A calming experience that prioritizes breath and presence • Movement that honors limitations, aging bodies, or physical sensitivities • A sense of safety, especially for those with trauma histories • A reconnection with body awareness and self-trust • A peaceful space to slow down and reset • Gentle support for emotional regulation
Join us in our movement room. This room is designed as a welcoming space for mindful movement, body awareness, and whole-person wellness. It supports individuals, families, and staff in reconnecting with the body through gentle practices such as yoga, stretching, and somatic movement. The space encourages restoration, resilience, and self-care through intentional, embodied experiences.
Classes will be offered as standalone sessions&nbsp;— participants can attend any or all.
