$12,000 in Jewelry Stolen from Lansdale Home
Several bottles of alcohol and a bag of clothing for charity were also stolen Oct. 24 from a home on Williamsburg Road

More than $12,000 in jewelry was taken from a home on Williamsbug Road in Lansdale between 7 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Oct. 24, police said.
Also taken were several bottles of alcohol and a bag of clothing for charity, police said.
At around 4:30 p.m. Oct. 24, Lansdale Police responded to the home in the Heritage Valley development for a report of a burglary, police said.

The homeowner arrived home to find the someone had stolen the jewelry from their bedroom while the home was unoccupied, police said.
Entry was gained through an unlocked door, police said.

The theft was reported to the press on Nov. 6.
