Montgomeryville Relocation Firm Names Pipersville Man 'Employee of the Year'

Movers Specialty Service in Montgomeryville has named a Plumstead Township man as Employee of the Year for 2012.

Brian Schaeffer, 42, of Pipersville, a corporate sales executive at the company, was awarded the President’s Award at the company’s holiday dinner this month.

Schaeffer, who graduated from Tyler School of Art’s graphic design program in 1994 and majored in business administration and marketing at Temple University from 1996 to 1998, has worked for the crating and specialty service corporate relocation service since 1988.

For the first 11 years, Schaeffer was a third-party technician on the road. Schaeffer was promoted to corporate sales executive in 2002, and remains responsible for numerous major van lines and relocation companies.

Schaeffer was formerly a UPS loader, sorter and air driver out of Willow Grove for 10 years, leaving in 1998.

Schaeffer is married to Kaitlyn, who he met at MSS in 1993. They have two children, Caroline and Patrick.
