Cops: Sellersville Man Reaches for Cell Phone, Crashes SUV into Pole

A Sellersville man was injured in a one-car crash June 5 in Skippack, police said.

Matthew Krulich, 22, was wearing his seatbelt in the 10:30 a.m. crash on the 4800 block of Skippack Pike, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Police said Krulich was driving a 2013 GMC Yukon west on Route 73/Skippack Pike, when he reached for his cell phone, crossed the eastbound lane and crashed into a Verizon utility pole.

The GMC SUV came to a rest and sustained severe damage, police said, and was towed from the scene.

Krulich was treated by Trappe Ambulance at the scene, police said.
