Five Things to Know Today: Business Expo, Gardening Workshop and More

1. Lansdale Parks and Recreaton holds a gardening workshop on herb gardening at 7 p.m. at the parks and recreation building.

2. PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce holds its 2013 Business Expo at Christopher Dock High School in Towamencin from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event celebrates the chamber’s 100^th anniversary, featuring 80 exhibitors and networking opportunities.

3. American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network holds an open house at AstraZeneca Hope Lodge from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a tour, dessert with guest, and a chance to talk about American Cancer Society CAN volunteer opportunities.

4. There is a grief recovery program today at 2 p.m. at Lansdale Library. The Grief Method® Outreach Program helps guide those who want to resolve their loss issues and move beyond grief.

5. Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network, a gathering of individuals to develop working relationships within the local business community, meets at Hatfield Quality Meats in Hatfield from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Fee is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members.
