Five Things to Know Today: Laser Light Show, Boy Scout Fundraiser and More
Cannoneers Youth Football and Cheerleading holds in-person registration upstairs in the Cannoneers Sportsman's Club, 501 N. Cannon Ave., Lansdale, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fees vary by age.

1. A musical laser light show is at the North Penn High School Planetarium at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. The 6 p.m. show is “Laser Magic,” featuring songs from artists like Blink 182, No Doubt and B-52s. “Laser Retro” is at 7:15 p.m., featuring songs by artists from the ‘80s, like Depeche Mode, Duran Duran and The Cure. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for students. Proceeds benefit the North Penn Community Education Program.
2. North Penn PAL meets at 2 p.m. to continue planning and organizing for the April 27 fundraiser for Lansdale teen Matthew Knoebel, 13, who is battling leukemia.
3. from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Notify the server you are there to support Troop 303. Proceeds go to the troop, in order to cover the cost of participation in Scout trips and activities for families who are unable to afford the costs.

5. North Penn Visiting Nurse Association, 51 Medical Campus Drive, Hatfield, holds “Focus on Motherhood Childbirth Classes” at 6:30 p.m. It is the first of a 12-week program that prepares expectant moms and dads for childbirth.
