Five Things to Know Today: Powerful Presentations, Edgar Allan Poe and More
Montgomery Theater in Souderton launches tonight at 7 p.m. a series of staged readings on its Project Stage. Tonight's launch event features a Spanish translation of Kim Carson's "Sleeping Beauty (And Friends)."
1. Alvina Peat presents a one-hour workshop at Lansdale Library at 6:30 p.m. titled “Making Powerful Presentations.” Peat will inform attendees on making presentations that grab hold of listeners’ attention, maximize understanding and retention of topics covered and turn passive listeners into involved participants.
2. A men’s book discussion group meets at 7 p.m. at Lansdale Library. This month’s selection are stories and poems by Edgar Allan Poe.
